Description: | Portrait of the ?Wulpenburg?, viewed from the port quarter. On the tafferel, there is a picture of a country house with a drawbridge on the right. On the rail above, there are the Arms of Amsterdam, with dolphins on the quarters. There are two shields on the counter; on the port side a lion rampant and on the starboard side, crossed anchors, representing the Admiralty of Amsterdam.
A ship called the ?Wulpenburg?, of about 30-34 guns, was built in 1675. This drawing, however, shows a much earlier ship, of which no record is known.
