Description: | Correctio Longit monendus Uranoph.
Celestial table globe. It forms a pair with the terrestrial globe, Valk GLB0102. Astronomical details on the sphere include a magnitude table below Corono Australis in a cartouche with the symbol of the Sun above it with text. The Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds are labelled. A total of 54 stars and six star groups are named, and the 48 Ptolemaic constellations and four of the non-Ptolemaic constellations are drawn. Three of the southern constellations are drawn, as well as those of Plancius and Hevelius.
The reconstruction of the text of the address to the reader is based on a similar label on one of Valk's 390 mm globes. For full details about the cartography and construction of this globe please refer to the related publication.
