Description: | Painted earthenware bust representing Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The figure wears a uniform coat coloured green and brown, two medals and a pink order ribbon. It has short brown hair with no queue and the face painted in naturalistic colours. The bust stands on a rectangular plinth, marbled red and a green square base. 'NELSON' impressed on the reverse of the bust.
