Obverse: Bust of Admiral Howe in a tie-wig, uniform and cocked hat with bow and brim higher at the back (left). Legend: 'EARL HOWE & THE GLORIOUS FIRST OF JUNE.' Reverse: Britannia seated, a shield at her side, her left hand holding an olive branch, in her right hand a spear pointing to the head of R. Legend: 'RULE BRITANNIA'. Exergue: '1795'. Inscribed on edge: 'PAYABLE IN LONDON.'
