Description: | ?W. V. V J?
?d dafet 1675 naer bijdt ogh?
Viewed close on the port bow, a portrait of the ?St David?, 54-gun fourth-rate, built 1667, sunk 1690. Only the foremost gun deck port is shown.
This drawing is made with freedom and accuracy but without the addition of any wash. The ship is shown high out of the water and without guns. It is possible that the drawing was made about the same time while the ship was laid up in ordinary.
