Description: | Straight-bladed dirk. The hilt consists of a gilt-metal slotted cross-guard with inversed shell finials, a round pommel and an ivory grip. The blade is straight, of diamond section and has been blued and gilt. The scabbard is missing. This is part of the Spinney Collection which includes, in total, sixteen swords, five dirks and three pistols (AAA3114 (pair) and 3115).
