Description: | W. Van de Velde
A view from the weather quarter of three large ships close-hauled on the port tack under topsails and mizzen. The ship in the right foreground may be a vice-admiral of the centre squadron.
This is an unsigned pencil and wash drawing by the Elder. This work, according to Robinson, appears to have been worked on by a later hand in pencil and wash.
