Description: | Drawing
The same incident as in PAF6611. In the centre is a broadside view of a galjoot-rigged yacht (? the ?Merlin?), her mainsail brailed up and being towed by a boat. She is firing a salute. A barge is shown pulling away in the left foreground. Yachts and ships are depicted in the background with the coast in the right distance.
This is an unsigned pencil and wash drawing by the Elder. According to Robinson, it may by its subject and style have been drawn on the occasion of the King?s visit to the ?Tiger?.
