Bowl-Brass 2" in depth containing dry card. Below chamber 1.25" in depth containing liquid. The 3.5" deep glass bowl containing liquid is at bottom. Upper bowl has four lubber lines. Has verge ring which is graduated to 180 degs through East and West to South. Verge glass has centre point to accommodate missing azimuth mirror.
Card-10" (25.4cm) Kelvin light dry card. White with black markings graduated to 1/4 points and quadrantally in degrees. Connected to centre jewelled pivot by radiating threads.
Needle-Ten parallel needles of pin type suspended from card. Two auxiliary needles in glass tubes in liquid filled chamber below bowl; these are not mechanically connected to dry needles.
Pivot-Steel pin in brass mounts attached to cross piece in dry part of bowl. Auxiliary needles working on double pivots in the liquid filled chamber.
Mounted on ACO stand 10.25 x 9.75" (26 24.8cm) O.A.Height 9.5" (24.2cm)
