Description: | A small medieval silver annular brooch with twisted frame. The frame is decorated with a line of pellets between the ridges. The pin is intact though missing its terminal. As this find was made before the Treasure Act 1996 came into force, it would have fallen under Treasure Trove legislation. In order to qualify as Treasure an object had to be believed to have been buried with the intent of recovery. This brooch is likely to be the product of a casual loss, and therefore does not meet the criteria for Treasure.
