Description: | A Roman clipped siliqua coin hoard, addendum to 2007 T165 and 2010 T73. An additional 15 clipped siliquae ranging in date from 355-408 AD and a single gold solidus of Arcadius were reported in 2011 bringing the total number of coins to date within the hoard to 78.The coins are as follows:Solidus: c.383-408 AD, ArcadiusSiliquae:355-364 AD, Julian (Lyon mint)367-375 AD, Unknown ruler (Trier? mint)375-378 AD, Unknown ruler (Trier? mint)378-383 AD, Unknown ruler (Aquileia mint)383-388 AD, Magnus Maximus x2 (Trier mint)388-395 AD, Arcadius and Egenius (Trier and Lyon mints)395-402 AD, Arcadius, Honorius and Unknown rulers x5 (Milan mint)388-408 AD, Unknown ruler or mint x2As a continuation of 2007 T165 (SF-4BDF20) and 2010 T73 (SF-9421A5) these coins form part of a dispersed clipped siliqua hoard, with the addition of a gold solidus. Therefore they fulfil the requirements of the Treasure Act.
