Description: | A copper-alloy Nuremberg 'French style' jetton depicting Loius XIV. Such jettons were struck by numerous 17th to early 18th century guild masters (see Mitchiner 1988: 500). This jetton probably dates from the king's reign, 1638-1715.Dimensions: 18.7mm diameter, 0.1mm thick. Weight: 0.9g.
