Description: | A silver deanrius dating to the Roman period.Worn.The coin was found in association with 90 more silver denarii, 2 copper alloy sestertii, two silver finger rings and three silver gilt trumpet brooches, treasure case 2012 T406. Also found were 39 fragments of ceramic, Oakden, V (2012) LVPL-AF98E8 A ROMAN VESSEL Webpage available at: http://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/509883.On the balance of probabilities, we conclude that this hoard of constitutes a prima facie case of treasure under the terms of the Treasure Act (1996), by being part of a group of precious metal coins and objects of the same find.
