Description: | A cast lead alloy or pewter spoon terminal dating to the Post-Medieval period. The top of the object is circular in plan and in the form of a crown. The crown is decorated with four vertical bands of pellets and a raised central knop which is flattened. Below the crown are the remains of the stem which terminates with an ancient break. The stem is sub-circular in cross-section and is decorated with vertical ribs. Between the stem and the terminal knop of the spoon is a large circumferential collar. The object has a brownish grey patina.
