Description: | A cast copper alloy incomplete bracelet dating to the Roman period. The object is zoomorphic with a probable snake's head terminal which is flattened and terminates with two small projections. The top of the 'snake's head' is moulded but worn. From the terminal the object thickens until it is oval in cross-section where it terminates with a break. The object is decorated with evenly spaced sections of transverse grooves. The object has a light green patina and is in fair condition.A similar example which can be found on the database is Booth, A (2013) LIN-391914 A ROMAN BRACELET Webpage available at: http://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/543719.
