Description: | label, This landscape view of a castle in Wales by R. Wilson, was bought by Dr. John Cargill of Thos. Hogarth Newcastle-on-Tyne in September 1851. It remained the property of Dr. Cargill till his death in 1878, when it became the property of his only surviving sister Anne, and remained in her house (15 Loraine Place, Newcastle-on-Tyne) till her death in July 1897, when it passed into the hands of her niece Mrs Marion Goldson and was removed to 9 Bath Terrace Tynemouth. Chas. B. Goldson 22-5-98.
