Resided at "Underhill" Low Fell, Gateshead,
from 1869 - 1894.
Photographic portrait of Sir Joseph Wilson Swan apparently taken towards the very end of his life, probably 1910-1914, mounted and framed in wooden frame with explanatory text handwritten on the mount by a former curator of the Saltwell Towers museum collection.
