Description: Colour postcard showing the lifeboat 'Bedford' at Exeter Maritime Museum. The Bedford was a South Shields lifeboat and was presented to the Museum by the Tyne Lifeboat Society. The Bedford is painted blue and white and is shown sitting on a wheeled cradle, under a shelter. In the background can be seen the Custom House of 1689. Postally unused.
