Description: | inscription, handwritten, SS
35mm slide of the Wouldhave Memorial, and Lifeboat in Ocean Road, South Shields. William Wouldhave’s profile is engraved on a plaque in the stone, on the middle section. The clock is above with a weather vane on the top. There is a red VW beetle car driving past, and to the left is the Pier arcade and old Majestic Ballroom building. The sea and pier head can be seen in the distance. The slide was probably taken in the 1980s or 1990s.
