Description: | Sword with a heavy backwards curved, single-edged blade, except near the end where it is double-edged. Two shallow fuller grooves on each side. The blade is attached to the hilt by broad langues that are combined with the quillions. The hand guard is made of sheet iron and is combined with a disc pommel from the centre of which rises a long iron spike. The grip is bound with string.
