Description: | A reproduction produced by the Vasari Society of a drawing by Andrea del Sarto. The drawing is of a man, identified in the title as St. John the Baptist. He is holding a circular object out in his right hand, and his right foot is raised, as though he is in movement. The figure is nude, and is drawn in strong lines with red chalk. There are several sketchy lines around the figure.
