Description: | A reproduction produced by the Vasari Society of a drawing by Rembrandt. The drawing is of a pastoral scene with a group of three seated figures at its centre. The figure on the left is playing a flute-like instrument; the figure in the centre is wearing a hat and is facing away from the viewer; and the figure on the right is looking across at the musician. An animal, perhaps a lamb, is roughly sketched in the bottom-right corner, and a billy goat is standing behind the group on the left. The ground rises up steeply to the right of the drawing. Some trees, and the outlines of architectural details, are visible in the background.
Text from the accompanying booklet produced by the Vasari Society:

A very beautiful example of Rembrandt's drawing and invention, unusually idyllic in character.
