Description: | Slightly curved and terminating in a point with three deep channels round the lower end of the blade. It has two stars on either side, with the sun and moon and faces inserted, and arabesque work near the hilt in floral patterns about 10.1cm long. The hilt, without guard, is of wood covered with snakeskin, terminating in two curved wings as a guard and of the usual albanian type. The scabbard is of snakeskin on one side and crocodile skin on the other side. Used in the Soudan.
