Description: | Full length portrait of two women in what appears to be Bretton national dress. The lady on the left is wearing striped bodice with short sleeves and full skirt with additional piece at hips and waist and dark coloured apron. Her head is covered in scarf which is twisted and tied in a loose knot at her neck. She is wearing hooped earrings and her hair is centrally parted and waved. The lady on the left is wearing similar outfit but her bodice is not striped and she has very short sleeves which are ruched. Both ladies skirts finish just below the knee. Both are wearing pale coloured striped stockings, the lady on the left wearing flat simple shoes , the lady on the right is wearing shoes with a heel.
