Description: | Sword and sheath from the Yaka people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The sword is made of iron and has two parallel lines of decoration on the blade. The hilt is wrapped in copper alloy wire. The sheath is made from wood covered in wide and sewn up with string, which also forms a loop. The sheath is a elongated oblong with a rounded shape at the bottom.
